GEN: Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News  is a trade publication that has been published by Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.  since 1980. It can be received for free, in print or online once you complete an online form. 

Also libraries may have access via free eJournals or Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek.

Within the journal you will find some corporate news features such as “What the top 10 Biopharma CEO’s are making.” But there are many more biotechnological and biomedical articles, such as  “3D Bioprinting makes the Imitation Matrix Real” Also in this latest issue, Sept. 3, 2019, there is an article about the “Genetics of Same-Sex Behavior”, and one about inducing a phage to kill highly resistant bacteria.

But the main reason I wanted to share this link and information is because of the presence of the columns on “Best of the Web” and “Best Apps”.  They tend to alternate in the monthly issues.  Meeting calendars, ads and new products are reported. Also the web sites and the applications selections can be specifically searched.
